Lincoln Junior Golf is great! I've been bringing my 7 year old daughter and 9 year old son to every Saturday class this year, and the Tuesday night classes that work into our schedule. The improvement in their games has been amazing. Dave does a great job coming up with different games and drills that keep things entertaining for the kids. There are contests every week that keep the kids engaged and learning about competition. The periodic skill testing for different areas of their golf game (putting, chipping, driving, irons, and knowledge) really helps you see where they've improved and where they need to practice a little more. The kids love earning achievement pins that help them win medals as they move to the next levels of the program. These classes have really helped keep golf fun for our kids.
I have a lot of fun at Pine Lake golf. It's cool when I get the chance to beat the boys. It's always fun and sometimes Dave tricks my brother with exploding golf balls. It's super funny.
Like many parents, I was very hesitant to have my four-year-old son, Skylar, participate in a Junior Golf League at such a young age. After meeting Dave and seeing the passion he has for teaching and growing the game, I wanted nothing more than to introduce Skylar to his program. Dave received a 2017 Sticks for Kids grant through the Golf Course Builders Association of America Foundation. The Sticks for Kids grant provided him with 10 sets of clubs for kids ages three to 18. After a few months of participating in the Junior Golf League, Skylar’s skill set and etiquette improved tremendously. Skylar looks forward to meeting with the other junior golfers, and most importantly he enjoys having fun on the course. I strongly believe that Dave and his team have set up a safe and fun environment for all junior golfers to enjoy.
